middling stay with notable issues

broken tv remote faulty air conditioning

the staff were friendly enough, i suppose.

the room, a 'standard room' i believe, wasn't exactly what i expected. the tv remote didn't work, so i had to get up every time i wanted to change the channel. and the air conditioning kept switching itself off, quite annoying indeed.

unclean towels worn chair covers

the hotel's location was really convenient, close to the train station. and it was right in the centre of everything

The towels were not clean. i even found a bandaid stuck to one. It was pretty gross. plus, the furniture looked old. the chair covers were worn, they really need to fix that stuff.

The hotel is close to the train station and other transport links. This made getting around the area quite easy. The bathroom was nice (especially the shower).

I requested a twin room, but it was not available. there was no fresh air because of sealed windows. I felt a bit closed in.

the room was nice and neat.

Check-in was slow with a large queue forming. the safe in my room did not work. It needed new batteries. i tried to call about this but, after waiting on hold for 30 minutes, i gave up.

clean room superb location

I liked my premium king room. it was larger than i expected and very clean. the location worked well. It was only five minutes from piccadilly station! but also only five minutes to arndale centre.

noise cancellation between rooms wasn't ideal, i could easily hear a hairdryer from next door through the connecting door.

weak pressure empty shampoo

The location wasn't ideal for the concert i attended. check-in started strictly at 3pm, a large queue formed. my room lacked any view. the safe didn't work. I tried calling but was on hold for 30 minutes (i eventually gave up). water pressure in the shower was weak. shampoo was also empty.
